Scorched Tanks is the original game in the series. It was developed by Micheal P. Welch, and published by Dark Unicorn Productions inspired by Wendell Hicken's Scorched Earth. It was released in 1993.

Gameplay
The game is centered around beating your opponent by getting a higher score. Which is caused by hitting them constantly with a barage of weaponry. The player can face up to four enemy tanks at once. The losing tank rotates it's gun back in forth with a white cloth attached. Admitting defeat.
